WDW Marathon Weekend Registration is OPEN!

It's time people! Time to get off your duffs, put on your buffs, and get running. Registration for the 2012 Walt Disney World Weekend has opened up.

Krystal is signed up for the 15th Anniversary Walt Disney World Half Marathon.

I'm signed up to be super Goofy in 2012!

Soon I'll up the ante and make it a Dopey so I can run the Friday 5k with my son, who will be there for his first WDW Marathon Weekend ever.

We are all super excited!

Whether you plan on running 3.1, 13.1, 16.2, 26.2, 29.3, 39.3 or 42.4 miles that weekend you've gotta get signed up.

If you plan on doing the Marathon Relay, you'd better sign up now. They are advertising registration space as being extremely limited on that one.

Get off your seats and on your feets! Run people, run!

Still goofin' . . .

UPDATE: Ha ha, I signed up my poor baby brother for the Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge!

  3. Savitre: It's the freaking Goofy's Race and a Half Challenge, you should be scared. You know better than I what you need to do to prepare for this thing. You're a veteran of the FIRST EVER Goofy Challenge.

You're going to need to train hard for RnR Seattle. It's gonna be hucking filly course. I remember that the hills in the New York Marathon wiped you out. Don't let that happen again. Seattle is not Chicago. Train for hills.

    Train. Train! TRAIN!

The Seattle RnR Marathon is in exactly 100 days. You should already be on a training schedule.

I challenge you to take part in my Goofy's Weekly Training Challenge. Go after some Bronze Medals and work yourself up to some Gold Medals. It's a start.

No one ever got ready for a marathon through wishful thinking alone. Get out there and kick ass.

Amanda: Wooohooooo!!!!!! Congrats on registering for the Dopey again.

  4. I typically don't start my marathon training till December, so what's all this hard work that you're talking about? :-)

I'm signed up for the 5k (running with my daughter) and the full. Wife is going to run the 1/2 and my son is going to do the 400m kids race.
